Rock ‘n’ roll inspiration returns for Fall 2013 as John Varvatos has once again teamed up with Converse for some rebellious takes on a number of classic footwear silhouettes. Starting with the classic Weapon, Varvatos’ zippered take sees the design with high-top in either black or charcoal colorways with a broken-in leather upper, burnished rand, and a decorative mid-zip element. Joining the Weapon Zip are Double Zip and Zip Off editions of the Chuck Taylor All Star, boasting the likes of premium leather and faux snakeskin uppers with details that include coated zippers, steel toecaps and removable studded collars. Rounding out the offerings is the brand new Chuck Taylor All Star Boot – a functional high-top with a fold-over option, expanded hardware, double zippers and premium leather. Ranging in price from $150 to $250 USD, the Converse by John Varvatos 2013 fall collection will begin hitting retailers across the globe come July 1.
