Bringing an architectural approach to modern menswear, Los Angeles-based label GPPR presents a conceptual nod to mid-century modern design with the introduction of its Spring/Summer 2013 “Pleasure Seekers” lookbook. Culling inspiration from “the gentleman, the philosopher, the pervert and the rebel” once again – this time with the likes of George Nelson, Eero Saarinen and Ray Eames immediately coming to mind via a variety of settings – GPPR’s latest lookbook sees a bold combination of colors and patterns as warm-weather staples like graphic tees and button-downs are paired with paisley and polka dots, cannabis leaves, leopard spots and more. “Gentleman by day, philosophers by night, perverts by choice, rebels by fate,” GPPR’s 2013 spring/summer collection is now available via its online store.
