Earlier this year, VIBE and McDonald’s announced the BigMix contest which would grant one lucky producer the opportunity to collaborate with Big K.R.I.T. on a song. In the first round of the competition, each of the 10 handpicked producers submitted their material for K.R.I.T.’s approval; the five who advanced to the next round were given the task of remixing Big K.R.I.T.’s hit single “Money On The Floor.” When all was said and done, Michigan-based production duo Foreign Allegiance were crowned victorious and “What You Know About It” is the result.
