Tyler, the Creator Takes Over Clash Magazine's June 2013 Issue

Generally disruptive by nature, Tyler, the Creator has taken Clash Magazine‘s new June 2013 issue and added a personalized touch. The cover of the English magazine this month will feature a collage of Tyler’s face, designed (unsurprisingly) by the rapper himself. The front of Clash‘s cover this month seems odd, yet fitting considering its subject, and the story behind it is equally unorthodox. After a series of tweets in support of Clash Magazine‘s aesthetic, Tyler was invited by the editors to give his own interpretation. After seven days, Tyler submitted the above illustration to Clash, also attaching 10 of his own photos to be used in the feature – talk about a balancing act. Look for the special edition cover of Clash to hit newsstands and Odd Future’s web shop at the end of this week while web orders will come accompanied by a poster-sized print of the cover.
