Radical Something - We Were Just Kids

Summer is just about here for most of us, and that typically means a good time for all. It’s not like it used to be, though. Do you ever think back on the days when you were a kid and you didn’t have a care in the world when the warm weather arrived? Do you ever compare those times to now and think about how much better it used to be before all the stresses of being an adult came along? Well, Los Angeles-based band Radical Something does. They don’t fret it, though. Instead, they embrace those memories of youth. That’s the message conveyed in the three-piece’s new song, “We Were Just Kids,” which expands upon their hip-hop, reggae and soul-infused sound and serves as the first single from their upcoming as-of-yet-untitled new album due out sometime in the next few months. Accompanying the track is a music video that brings life to its reminiscing lyrics of adolescence, freedom and fun.
