Founder Jean Touitou frowns upon all things overly-designed and every season, his chic, pared-back designs remind us of the joys — and inherent coolness — of classic minimalism. In the spirit of the label, A.P.C.’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection features lightweight outerwear, sweaters, accessories, and the perfect tees for the season. Should you be looking for spring’s essential jacket, the brand’s Blue Heavyweight Denim Jacket provides a washed, slim-cut version, while the Classic Bomber Jacket is an update of a classic in Italian canvas. Touitou has also been working hard on this season’s perfect tee, and the Amor Fati T-Shirt hails from his new line of basics focused on fit and fabric. Rounding out the collection are simple crewnecks in leopard and nautical stripes, along with brushstroke prints and subtle stripes that prove basic doesn’t always have to be boring.
