Founded on innovating athletic footwear specifically for competitive runners, Nike looks to bring back a favorite among its earliest target market with the Air Vortex VNTG “Poison Green.” Originally introduced in 1985, this comfortably light blend of mesh, suede, and nylon atop a vulcanized rubber sole is repositioned with a tonal “Poison Green” colorway and darker teal colored check. Furthermore, the “VNTG” moniker suggests a slightly weathered upper with distressed details that includes off-colored laces and midsole. This Air Vortex iteration, among others, is currently available now at retailer Overkill for $122 USD.
