Q-Tip & Rick Rubin to Produce Kanye West's Next Album

During a recent interview with Elliott Wilson for Jay Z’s Life+Times, G.O.O.D. Music producer/rapper Q-Tip shared the first bit of information in regards to Kanye West’s forthcoming album. Going on to confirm that both he and Rick Rubin will handle the production on the Yeezus follow-up album, Tip didn’t beat around the bush when asked about his current projects and simply answered by saying, “I’m producing Kanye’s new album, with Rick Rubin” (around 8:00 mark in the video). Ye has already gone on to say that he plans on releasing another album in 2014, and now we’re getting a few notable names to attach to it.

Q-Tip also went to speak on reconnecting with A Tribe Called Quest during the New York stop of the ‘Yeezus Tour,’ and his upcoming collaborative project with Busta Rhymes, titled The Abstract & The Dragon. Check out the full interview down below and enjoy.
