2013′s been an exciting year for the A$AP Mob, with many of its members embarking on creative endeavors. With a follow-up to their debut mixtape Lord$ Never Worry underway, the mob lets us in on their latest offering, “Trillmatic.” Featuring A$AP Nast and Method Man, the single pairs the young rapper with the longtime Wu-Tang emcee, presenting a boom-bap hit backed by a ’90s hip-hop instrumental. Paying homage to Nas’s discerning style in its art direction and visuals, “Trillmatic” revisits Meth’s compelling style while showcasing one of A$AP’s most understated spitters. Expect the track to appear on A$AP Mob’s forthcoming studio album, which is set to drop March 4, 2014.
