After dropping burgundy, black, navy and grey colorways throughout the past year, New Balance looks to continue its reissues of the American-made 990 in 2014 with the introduction of a new red, white and blue edition. Equipped with its OG Vibram outsole and contrasting white and grey midsole, the early ’80s reissue sports a royal blue upper of mesh and suede as bright red leather takes care of both the heel tab and “N” branding. Look for the royal blue kicks to drop in limited quantities this January while pre-orders are now available ahead of 2014’s release via Titolo.
