Maison Martin Margiela 2014 Pre-Spring/Summer San Crispino Running Sneakers
In a departure from the sleek, retro-inspired aesthetic that marks the acclaimed label’s “Replica”

In a departure from the sleek, retro-inspired aesthetic that marks the acclaimed label’s “Replica” releases is the upcoming San Crispino Running Sneakers from Maison Martin Margiela as a part of its pre-Spring/Summer 2014 collection. Seen here in a white/grey/red color combo, this luxury take on the ubiquitous tech-heavy running sneaker pairs a mesh base with a combination of premium nubuck and patent leather overlays and is marked by its San Crispino welt – a construction technique typically reserved for more formal footwear. In classic sneaker fashion, the design comes complete with a two-toned midsole – a nod to the dual-density foams of retro runners – and a rugged black rubber traction outsole. Made in Italy, Margiela’s San Crispino Running Sneakers are now available from oki-ni for £350 GBP (approximately $569 USD).
