Turning Reebok "Outside-In" with Ian Paley of Garbstore

Catching up with Ian Paley – founder of British menswear boutique and label Garbstore – during the opening of Garbstore’s Stateside venture Garbstore Case Study, we sat down to discuss one of the brand’s projects with Reebok that recently caught our attention. Bringing us up to speed on his involvement with Reebok and his earliest memories with sneakers/trainers, Paley recalls how after bringing home a new pair of sneakers, rather than staring and admiring the outside of the sneaker, he’d be more interested in finding out what was going on inside the shoe. It was this curiosity that led Garbstore to create the Reebok “Outside In” collaboration – exposing the inner workings of each iconic silhouette.
