Our next Further Look gives us a better view of the collaborative footwear collection between Tim Coppens and Common Projects. As part of the designer’s 2014 spring/summer racetrack-inspired collection, the footwear incorporates mixed-media construction using mesh, cork, patent leather and foil-like material for the uppers, and brings distinct paneling along with shapes such as stars into the mix.
