As courtroom drama continues in the wake of Nicolas Ghesquière’s forced departure from Balenciaga, strong hints suggest that he will stepping in to the role of creative director at Louis Vuitton, which itself recently bade farewell to Marc Jacobs. Though LV officially denies his appointment, with the current absence of a creative director, it won’t be long before the fashion house has to make an official choice. And as to who filled the shoes left by Ghesquière, Balenciaga brought another acclaimed designer, Alexander Wang, to the then vacant position a few months later.
