The voice behind one of 2012’s most prominent LP’s 1991, Azealia Banks has been causing a bit of havoc on the sonic airwaves and judging by her latest release, she isn’t about to let up. Titled “BBD,” the Harlemite stutters slang in effortless rap chic over an energetic trap-infused beat. Courtesy of New York beat-juggling champion Apple Juice Kid, the snare heavy instrumental is strung together with plenty of EDM samples and bouncy drops, while Miss Banks’s lyrical mannerism seems to exceed itself in every release. Perhaps this offers a teaser for what is to come on her forthcoming album Broke With An Expensive Taste, dropping this February.
