Part of a worldwide initiative to eliminate HIV/AIDS by the year 2015, Belvedere Vodka recently unveiled its new bottle design for the new Belvedere (RED) Special Edition. The revamped bottle was developed by Polish design firm Dekorglass, resulting in an eye-catching semitransparent metallic iteration, and its red hue signifies both the ongoing, Bono-founded (RED) campaign and Belvedere’s commitment to fighting the disease. Half of the profits from the sales of the (RED) bottle will go towards the Global Fund, putting antiviral drugs directly into the hands of those in need and turning a fatal disease into a manageable condition. Look for the Belvedere (RED) 2012 Special Edition Bottle to hit stores this month, as well as a host of special events and collaborations involving the makers of the world’s first super premium vodka.
