Paul Smith 2012 Spring/Summer Collection

As evidenced by his collection for Spring/Summer 2012, designer Paul Smith has obviously mastered the recipe for creating a perfect show. Mixing the brand’s own unique heritage with a hint of the unexpected, Smith was able to present a collection that proved both classic and contemporary at the same time. Slim, color-blocked suits were a pleasant addition to the label’s offerings as were preppy sweaters, classic outerwear and cubist-inspired knitwear. The accessories were certainly on point as well, with pieces like leopard lace-ups, leather slip-ons with kiltie detailing, and sizable tote bags. Scroll down to see more images from the collection.
