As evidenced by his collection for Spring/Summer 2012, designer Paul Smith has obviously mastered the recipe for creating a perfect show. Mixing the brand’s own unique heritage with a hint of the unexpected, Smith was able to present a collection that proved both classic and contemporary at the same time. Slim, color-blocked suits were a pleasant addition to the label’s offerings as were preppy sweaters, classic outerwear and cubist-inspired knitwear.
