Last night, San Francisco’s FIFTY24SF opened the doors to it’s latest show Underbelly. Featuring art by Canadian Ben Tour, the exhibition includes mural installations, paintings and framed & dry-mounted works on paper. Each piece embodies Tour’s style of contemporary portraiture. Handling subject material such as prostitution and street culture, Ben Tour managed to achieve an equilibrium through his unique brush styles. He describes his style as a more aggressive approach with rough and quick lines. The exhibition is currently running until January 31st at FIFTY24SF.
