Obey Plagiarist Shepard Fairey by Mark Vallen
Since the inception of the brand Obey by artist Shepard Fairey, he has built an incredible art-based empire with his ongoing propaganda movement. However, underneath all of his artwork is a glimmer story told by artist Mark Vallen. In a recent critique of Shepard Fairey, he blasts the Obey movement as nothing more then a plagiaristic endeavor which severely undermines the original intents and messages his art is derived from.
