In late 2005, Michael Huynh committed himself to one of his long-time dreams. What followed was the inception of Orisue, an independent apparel company inspired by life’s many positive elements—the expression of affection, hard work, perseverance through adversity, and struggle. While Orisue reflects its creators, it strives to embrace and represent the diverse lifestyle of individuals who make life interesting for all of us.
Now in their 6th season, Orisue have launched the Fall 2007 2nd Delivery look book with new shots of their premium t-shirts, cut-and-sewn sweats, knits, 5-panel caps and fitted hats. Makers of fitted caps and accessories, Official have just unveiled their latest pieces for the upcoming Fall/Winter 2007 collection. You’ll find an eclectic mix of patterns and embroideries to suit your needs. One of the highlights of the season is the extensive use of patterns including shemaghs and houndstooth patterns. Each style boasts many different colors to choose from. No word yet on a release date.
Little Giants is a new documentary series that focuses on influential artists who are connected to contemporary art, street culture and skateboarding. The series will humanize the names behind the artwork and will allow the viewer a look at the artist’s personalities and history. By way of interviews with their peers, pro skaters, industry moguls and the artists themselves, each volume will focus on a single human (one “Little Giant”) and will be distributed to skateshops and boutiques as well as being available for download through 411’s iTunes Store.
Filmed entirely in HD, directed by Bob Kronbauer (of MumbleMagazine.com) and distributed by 411, each installment will be 30 minutes long and accompanied by a collectible booklet. The retail price has been set at a reasonable $19.95 and volumes will be released twice yearly. The first volume will be out this November with skateboarder and artist Don Pendleton.
The New Balance Trail Buster model which is based of the MT580 model was first released in the 90’s. New Balance has recently reissued the urban hiking shoes with fresh new colorways. Here’s a look at the upcoming camo Trail Buster which comes in two colors (purple & green) and features a urban camo throughout the shoe. They will be coming out on September 5th at Mita Sneaker for 9,200 Yen.
The iconic Stan Smith model by adidas has become the latest template for this latest City Series. Each design is created with the characteristics of the city. Four cities are represented and include Las Vegas (USA), Brussels (Belgium), Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) and Seville (Spain). Japanese retail has been set at 10,500 Yen (approximately $91 USD).
