Last night marked the opening of a new show at Frank151's Chop Shop as it presented the works by artist Steve Ellis in association with Frank151 and Shut Skateboards. The exhibition covered your favorite assortment of cutting tools from butterfly knives, to meat slicers and switchblades. A special three way collaboration deck was created for the event bearing a barber's blade and the line "A slip of the foot you may soon recover, but a slip of the tongue you may never get over".

Aside from their regular release of culturally relevant reading material, Frank151 have also added hot fitteds to their name with some dope cap releases in the past. This season's 2008 Spring cap collection includes the NY Kings Blackout Series and the Frank151 exclusive Tuff Gong and Soul Assassins. The NY Kings Blackout collection (pictured) are available now while the Tuff Gong and Soul Assassins will release in the near future. The Kings Blackout collection also comes complete with a signed copy of Pete Rock's "NY's Finest" CD. Check the cap section of Frank151 for availability.
The French chapter of mini-lifestyle magazine Frank151 teamed up with luxury leather goods maker Jacques Ferrand to create a collection of limited edition ostrich and crocodile skin skate decks, each bearing a Frank151 stamp. No information on availability but questions can be directed here.

The pint-sized publication about all things cool, Frank151 is set to release their latest t-shirt. Playing off their chop house theme, the t-shirt features a detail old school razor blade print on the front while the back has a silhouette of Benjamin Franklin. Expected to hit the Frank151 online shop in the coming weeks.
