After opening pre-orders for the headset back in March, Sony took to its E3 presser last night to finally announce an official release date for the PlayStation VR. Fans can expect the Japanese tech giant’s virtual reality offering to hit retailers come October 13 while the $399 USD price point — which was reported back in March — holds true. Bundles that include the PlayStation Camera and Move controllers will run you an extra $100 USD.

Sony is also committed to having about 50 games ready for launch come October and, naturally, took the wraps off of a brand new title and a few future releases. The most noteworthy title? Batman: Arkham VR, a virtual reality take on the acclaimed Arkham series that will let Bat fans experience Gotham, the Batcave and iconic Batsuit from the perspective of the Dark Knight himself. Sony also showcased Farpoint (“an unnerving space adventure set on a hostile alien world”) and surreal horror experience Here They Lie. There’s even a special edition of Star Wars Battlefront on the way, not to mention Resident Evil 7. While RE7 will come to Xbox One and PC, each of the other aforementioned games will be exclusive to the PlayStation VR (and PlayStation 4, which is required for Sony’s headset).

Check out the trailers for some of the upcoming games below and look for the PlayStation VR to hit shelves come October 13.
