Why Him? tells the story of Ned (played by Bryan Cranston, of Walter White and Zordon fame), a protective father who pays a family visit to his daughter (Zoey Deutch) at Stanford. Here’s the catch: his daughter happens to be dating Laird (Franco), a tech billionaire with absolutely no filter — or concept of normalcy, for that matter — who hopes to propose. When he is denied her father’s blessing, Laird goes above and beyond to charm the family with gifts and substances. The two develop an intense and hilarious rivalry.

Check the trailer out above and look for the film to hit theaters December 25.
