As we reported last week, Killer Mike and El-P were set to take part in a new Portlandia sketch as Run The Jewels. Following the recent surprise release of the pair’s anticipated new studio album RTJ3, the duo’s Portlandia skit has made its way to the public. Fittingly, Run The Jewels’ Portlandia appearance revolves around a release strategy for their new project. In their skit, El-P and Killer Mike meet with their PR team to discuss several different approaches to dropping an album — the “end of the world” is even involved.
