Inside adidas's Newest "Stadium" Retail Flagship Store in NYC

adidas has launched its latest New York-based flagship store, based around the theme of a classic stadium. The new industrial-style space features the mi adidas customization service, which is available online, but has several exclusive options if you visit the store, such as a NYC sockliner option. Various tributes to prominent adidas-sponsored athletes can be found throughout as well, most notably a statue of adidas founder Adi Dassler. Other parts of the store are designed to resemble old-school stadium bleacher stands. As you’d expect for a flagship space, the extensive footwear and apparel styles are split by category with separate spaces for running, basketball, soccer and skateboarding amongst others. The store is also stocked with the latest EQT launches, recent consortium releases and the Reigning Champ UltraBOOSTs. The launch itself was filled with celebrities and artists, including the likes of Desiigner, while DJ Esco played a set to keep the crowd entertained.
