Ben Woodburn Becomes Liverpool's Youngest Ever Goalscorer

Liverpool FC has a new darling amongst its team. At only 17 years and 45 days old, Ben Woodburn has become The Reds’ youngest goalscorer to date. The record was previously held by Liverpool legend Michael Owen who was 17 years and 145 days old. Taking place during an EFL Cup match against Leeds United on Tuesday night, Jurgen Klopp is making a definite turnaround for Liverpool. Woodburn only made his senior debut for the Reds during Saturday’s Premier League win over Sunderland. This also marks Woodburn’s first goal and appearance at the EFL Cup.
