The Nike Air Icarus Is Back
Finally set for a return after 25 years.
Vintage running ‘heads know that the Air Icarus is to the ’90s what classics like the Cortez and Pegasus are to the ’70s and ’80s: timeless designs that never lose their appeal. Now, 25 years after its original 1991 release, the kicks are set to return to a Nike Sportswear location near you. Debuting here in 2016 in one of its OG colorways, this Icarus comes with a black mesh and off-white suede build as bold “Bright Crimson” accents highlight everything from the leather Swoosh and embroidered branding to the tongue lining and outsole.
Just one of many colorways set for a 25th anniversary drop, the Bright Crimson/White edition of the Air Icarus will soon be available at NSW spots worldwide for $100 USD per pair.
