adidas has unveiled the all-new Primeknit 2.0, which looks to be the best fitting football boot in the world with its innovative amalgamation of technology. The concept merges the original Samba Primeknit and the Primeknit FS (Footy Sock) prototype, producing something that takes the best aspects of both models. Compression fit technology and a compression tongue that includes Lycra yarns designed to wrap around the midfoot creates the ultimate lockdown feel. Furthermore, the control knit has a 3D texture to provide even better ball control, while the outer shell incorporates a lightweight vacuum-coated skin to protect the yarns and maintain its soft surface. The Primeknit 2.0 will be released as part of the new adidas Football “Limitied Collection,” with only 10,000 pairs available globally. Its release is due on April 22 at adidas locations and select retailers worldwide.
