Taking a distinctively Eastern-European inspiration for Missoni‘s Fall/Winter 2015 show, Angela Missoni quite literally rolled out the magic carpet. For this season, the Missoni man is an artist seeking inspiration on the trans-Siberian railway, clad in textural layers and patterns. Wearing v-neck sweaters, ethnic tunics, plaid suits and solid ties in sensually deep browns, reds and blues, large shawls and scarves help evoke the artists’ carefree nature, with a plethora of oriental prints reminiscent of the carpets adorning the runway. As for footwear, Missoni’s continued collaboration with Converse sees silken sport boots cavort down the runway and styled alongside cashmere socks. Look for the Missoni 2015 fall/winter range to hit retailers later this year.
