Arguably the most sought after Air Jordan XI of all time has been rumored and confirmed for a comeback in 2009. Originally seen on Michael Jordan’s feet in his 1996 movie Space Jam, the shoe will be dropping as a limited quickstrike release. Release dates are suggested for Friday, November 27th, 2009 with a suggested retail price of $175 USD for the men’s version. Stay tuned for more details as they become available.

    -first of all, i dont know anyone who would hate on you for wanting to cop space jams. my advice is to cop 2 pairs. DS one and rock the others. its that simple. as long as jordan puts his retros out i’m going to buy them, and so will everyone else. jordan brand knows that, so they will keep making them as cheaply as possible to make a profit. if people can cut costs on you they will. some sneakerheads live in a fantasy world. just because you love a shoe, the makers are not going to go out of their way for quality. NO BRAND IS MAKING SHOES FOR THAT PURPOSE. that being said, i cant wait to double cop these, and til then i’ll be dreaming of 7 bordeaux’s, 6 infrareds, and bred(flu game) 12’s, and black/red/cement spiz’ikes. the fusions are an abomination, fyi. i feel you L

    Jordans have lost their originality a long time ago. there are so many re-releases and fusions that the real ones look fake. Ever since the original designers of jordans left, the sneakers have never gotten any better.

    I think I paid like 125 maybe 150 back in 2001 when these dropped. So why would I pay 175 for a pair of space jams that will most likely be of inferior quality. Not to mention, Where is exclusivity any more? Quick strike my a** that clearly says 175 for the mens version which means they will drop for kids too. Nuff said!     They are becoming cheap when it comes to material. My boy bought some 11’s not too long ago, and the 23 on the back is peeling off already. He also has the 2001 release (which he’s worn a lot), and the 23 still intact.

    I have the “o.g.” 2001 retro and wore them like crazy. They do now look cheap after what JB did to patent leather. I remember when I rocked these fresh to school, they absolutely killed it. Now, with so many fakes and garbage JB products, I’m sad to say I never even wear them or even care to. sad.
