Update: It’s been half a year since we initially spotted A Ma Maniére’s new project involving the Air Jordan 4 in this “Phantom” colorway. Now, we have a slightly better look at the shoe, revealing an altered build from the pair James Whitner wore during Paris Fashion Week. While its all-”Phantom” mixed material upper remains in tact, the heel has been adjusted from a translucent tab with AMM branding to a plain one with Nike Air branding. Release is now anticipated to take place on September 19 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $250 USD.

Original Story: While countless eyes are glued to the runways of Paris Fashion Week, there’s also plenty of exciting reveals taking place in the streets of the City of Light. The latest to hit the net involves frequent collaborators A Ma Maniére (AMM) and Jordan Brand as AMM founder James Whitner has been spotted in the duo’s rumored Air Jordan 4 release for 2024.

Previously, the two took on the Air Jordan 4 with a “Violet Ore” look drenched in a soft purple. Now, the two are following up on the project with a newly-unveiled “Phantom” color arrangement. The brief preview notably features an all-”Phantom” upper that is backed by a translucent heel detail carrying AMM’s “A” logo. Supporting the sneaker, an off-white-colored midsole is joined by dark brown detailing. “The story just got better,” Whitner shared on his story after the first look was shared, ostensibly referencing the collaboration.

At the time of writing, neither A Ma Maniére nor Jordan Brand have shared any release details regarding their forthcoming collaboration on the Air Jordan 4. Look for this “Phantom” colorway to touch down on shelves at some point in the coming months via Nike SNKRS, A Ma Maniére and select retailers at an expected price of $250 USD.
