The Kid LAROI Drops Viral Track 'Girls'
“Girls just wanna dance…”
After teasing “Girls” on Instagram and TikTok for what feels like forever now, The Kid LAROI has finally dropped the viral track. Championed by a catchy hook and complete with a cameo-filled music video (hi Alix Earle), “Girls” is exactly what the social media snippets promised.
“Girls just wanna dance (Uh, ayy) / Girls just wanna have fun / I don’t know your plans (Ayy) / I just wanna, uh, get some,” he delivers on the chorus, before kicking off the viral “F*ck your ex-man, I’m the man now” first verse.
“Girls” – which also found itself as the subject of a special-edition Erewhon smoothie – is lifted from the musician’s forthcoming project.
LAROI packaged “Girls” into a two-pack with his THE FIRST TIME track “NIGHTS LIKE THIS,” which is also seeing a resurgence in streams due to it’s current virality on TikTok.
Worry not, more new music from The Kid does seem to be coming soon, however.
