Sabato De Sarno is well into his tenure at Gucci and is fast approaching his first anniversary at the House. Since September, he has presented his first womenswear, menswear, and Cruise collections — as De Sarno continues exploring his design language by tapping into Gucci’s historical design references.

For Gucci’s Fall/Winter 2024 campaign, the designer promotes his first men’s line in laidback settings and pays tribute to natural male beauty. The collection is built on freedom of expression, allowing the wearer to decipher the silhouettes as they see fit.

Early 2000s icons Clément Chabernaud and George Barnett front the campaign with a modern perspective, evaluating the past, present, and future through the lens of David Sims. The runway models add their unique flair to the collection, grounding the campaign in elevated styling with a mind of its own.

Hardware-fused neckties dangle across bare chests, paired with form-fitting trousers and trimmed-down leather gloves. Double-breasted suiting shines in red monogram prints, while cropped hoodies, glossy trench coats, and bedazzled knitwear reimagine everyday wardrobe staples. Low-slung embroidered tank tops accompany patterned uniforms and swollen bomber jackets, accessorizing the collection with De Sarno’s oversized take on Gucci’s classic Jackie bag.
