Denzel Curry Taps That Mexican OT on "BLACK FLAG FREESTYLE"
Lifted from the impending ‘King Of The Mischievous South Vol. 2.’
Denzel Curry is keeping the mischievous momentum going. As the second iteration of King Of The Mischievous South – King Of The Mischievous South Vol. 2 – approaches, Curry is continuing to preview the sound of the album, now dropping off “BLACK FLAG FREESTYLE” featuring That Mexican OT.
The duo debuted the track on a “From The Block” performance, though its origins go back even further – when Curry recorded the track late one night in Australia. This same recording session informed the track’s title, as, per a press release, Curry wrapped a black bandana over the microphone before spitting the song.

The 187 Ricky and Payday-produced cut is carried by high-octane production, as well as Curry’s infamous high-octane energy – which gels compatibly with OT’s vigor.
“Ayy, black flag all on my mic’ (On my mic’) / I been known to spend a lot like Bob Barker, the price is right (Hey) / Being broke my kryptonite (Huh), being rich my superpower (Huh) / Smokin’ on these bitter n****s, in my hood we call it sour (Smoke),” he asserts on the chorus before showing love to his hometown.
“From the southside of F-L-A, been through Dade and Broward / Musty ass kush on me, smellin’ like a golden shower (The shower) / Yeah, I like my weed louder, b*tches badder, n****a realer (Ayy) / I don’t play about my family, ’bout my business, ’bout my skrilla (Nah).”
Stream “BLACK FLAG FREESTYLE” on Spotify and Apple Music now, and expect King Of The Mischievous South Vol. 2 to drop everywhere on July 19.
