Audi Celebrates 25 Years of the RS 4 With New Avant Edition
Limited to 250 units.
In celebration of the 25th anniversary of the RS4, Audi has unveiled the limited-edition RS4 Avant edition 25 years. With only 250 units available, this model combines high performance with exclusive design features, paying homage to the original RS4 Sport.
The RS4 Avant edition 25 years boasts a V6 biturbo engine delivering 470 hp and 440 lb-ft of torque, providing an enhanced 20 hp over the standard RS4 Avant. This powerful engine accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 186 mph. The RS ceramic brake system ensures efficient braking, while the RS sport exhaust system offers a thrilling sound experience.
Notably, the vehicle is further enhanced by the RS Sport Suspension Pro, a manually adjustable coilover suspension that allows for a lower ride height and improved handling. The front axle’s increased negative camber and stiffer control arms contribute to better grip and cornering speed, while the quattro sport differential and updated transmission control unit provide greater agility and faster shifting.
Externally, the RS4 Avant edition 25 years stands out with its Imola Yellow paint, reminiscent of the RS4 Sport and other exclusive colors like Nardo Gray and Mythos Black. Gloss black accents, a black inlay in the rear lights, and darkened Matrix LED headlights add to its distinctive look. The car also features special 20-inch alloy wheels with high-performance Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires, optimized for both road and track use.
Inside, the anniversary edition features yellow decorative stitching, RS bucket seats with honeycomb stitching and carbon backrests. The steering wheel, gear gaiter and other elements are adorned with yellow accents, echoing the design of the original RS4 Sport. Additionally, each car is individually numbered and customers can opt for a suede steering wheel with yellow stitching.
The special edition RS 4 Avant 25 years will be available for order starting June 2024 in the UK, priced at $153,877 USD, with plans for a broader global release not yet announced at the time of writing.
