Justin Placek Drops Ultra Limited Porsche 911 Dakar Insert Set
With only 25 units, each available on a first come first serve basis.
Justin Placek, the owner-operator of his namesake company, specializes in restoring classic Porsche interiors. His business focuses on enhancing the beauty and value of classic cars through services like interior work, chrome plating and wood refinement. Placek is renowned for his exquisite designs and high-quality craftsmanship, with the most recent example of this being his Porsche 911 992 Dakar insert sets.
The designer refers to his latest release as “THE” insert set for the Porsche 992 Dakar. The cushions feature very significant attention to detail and take design inspiration straight from the livery found on the Dakar Rough Roads — including hues of blue, gold, white and red.
Placek shared that the collection took over 8 months of preparation and work, with a total of 100 cushions being made for 25 complete sets — each of which features a plaque pointing to its exclusivity, numbered from 1 to 25. Additionally, the designer shared on Instagram that each set will be accompanied by a matching and limited-edition Hantritt bag.
The sets are available for purchase now via inquiry through Placek’s official site and come with a certificate of authenticity. However, they are available on a first come first serve basis and only available to 992 Dakar owners, meaning you’ll have to provide proof of ownership to purchase.
