The most recent James Bond rumors see that Aaron Taylor Johnson has been offered the role as the next 007, succeeding Daniel Craig. Taylor-Johnson’s involvement has long been rumored and was initially reported back in December 2022. In early 2023, the actor met with producers for the project and emerged as a front runner.

Recently, The Sun reported that he had received a “formal offer” and that Taylor-Johnson is to accept the role imminently. A source told the publication, “Bond is Aaron’s job, should he wish to accept it. The formal offer is on the table, and they are waiting to hear back. As far as Eon is concerned, Aaron is going to sign his contract in the coming days, and they can start preparing for the big announcement.”

Producers for the film, as well as Taylor-Johnson’s team has not yet confirmed the rumor, leaving speculation of who will take the role still in the air. Taylor-Johnson famously played Pietro Maximoff in Avengers: Age of Ultron in 2015. He is expected to star alongside Ryan Gosling in The Fall Guy.
