Take a Trip Around West London in The Garbstore's SS23 Editorial
Captured by Manchester and London-based photographer, Niall Hodson.
London-based concept store The Garbstore has just presented its brand-new editorial for Spring/Summer 2023, showcasing seasonal pieces from its three in-house brands; Garbstore, The English Difference, and Home Party.
As a whole, the campaign takes on styling that integrates both cult-classic and rising labels of the store, with complementing pieces to the editorial coming from labels such as Kapital, Stüssy, HERILL, and Athletics Footwear.
Shot by London and Manchester-based photographer Niall Hodson, the editorial showcases the best of Garbstore SS23 around the streets of Portobello. When looking closer, London natives may notice locations such as Portobello Road Market and Golborne Road, with both reflecting The Garbstore’s West London roots along with the melting pot of emerging labels that are making the area their own.
Highlights from the editorial come in the form of Garbstore’s Highway Jacket. Made for the warm (and sometimes unpredictable) months of the UK’s summer season, the jacket comes crafted in a combination of nylon and checked cotton, while corduroy trims round off the design.
Meanwhile, other garments, such as the relaxed Japanese Ruffle Pants are also included in the collection, recommended to be partnered with Home Party’s oversized, box-fit shirts made from a lightweight Japanese “Miracle Wave” fabric. Finishing off the editorial, The Garbstore keeps us prepared for cooler summer evenings with its 1940s naval uniform-inspired Waffle Marl Crewneck Sweater.
