Estée Lauder was a pioneering woman with one message: that “every woman can be beautiful.” With this philosophy, she changed the cosmetics industry with a company that started with just four products. In 1953, Lauder developed a way for women to buy perfume for themselves, rather than receiving it as a gift. It was called Youth-Dew, and this has shaped the industry as we know it today. Today, the conglomerate has a portfolio comprising 27 brands, including Tom Ford Beauty, Le Labo, La Mer and MAC.
