Chips Ahoy has officially joined forces with condiment giant Heinz to release the Tomato Sweet Chili Flavored Cookies in China. The collaboration brings a savory, spicy twist to the traditional sweet snack under the cookie brand’s Chinese market name, Quduoduo.
Drawing direct flavor cues from Heinz’s signature tomato sweet chili sauce, the baked treats blend tangy tomato with crushed red chili peppers for a crispy, sweet, and spicy profile. The snack arrives in vibrant red and orange packaging displaying both brand logos alongside illustrations of ripe tomatoes, chili peppers, and an animated cookie mascot outfitted with chili-shaped horns.
Each 170g box houses eight individually wrapped snack packs for convenience. The release follows a broader wave of unconventional fast-food crossover pairings across China’s snack market, continuing an experimental trend seen in previous savory collaborations like KFC and Oreo’s fried chicken cookie and savory burger drops.
The limited-edition Chips Ahoy x Heinz Tomato Sweet Chili Flavored Cookies are available now via select Chinese retailers.
