Salomon updates the XT-6 GTX with a new “Tradewinds/Stormy Weather/Bog” colorway, giving the trail-derived silhouette a cool, overcast palette that feels especially suited to its weather-resistant construction.
The upper is built around a pale blue-grey mesh base, layered with darker Bog green-grey reinforcement panels and muted yellow-beige SensiFit detailing that traces the shoe’s angular cage. A soft mint tone appears around the midsole edge and heel, while black across the tongue, collar, Quicklace system and outsole adds a sharper technical contrast. Small flashes of blue, red and yellow on the Salomon tongue branding break up the otherwise subdued treatment, giving the colorway a subtle archival outdoor feel.
The XT-6 GTX retains the protective construction that distinguishes it from the standard XT-6. A GORE-TEX ePE membrane provides waterproofing and breathability without intentionally added PFCs, while the debris-resistant mesh structure helps shield the foot in wet or demanding urban conditions.
