SATISFY and Oakley have officially presented Chapter VIII: Equipment for Our World, marking the latest installment in their ongoing partnership. Built around archival footwear and eyewear research, the collection pairs two distinct sunglass silhouettes with a technical running apparel system engineered for precision ventilation and heat management.
Eyewear leads the capsule with two contrasting frames from Oakley’s design archive. The release revives the Oakley Scar™, first introduced in 2001 as the brand’s inaugural mixed-material frame. Reworked by SATISFY in “Falcon” and “X-Silver Metal” colorways, the O Matter™ construction features an integrated metal joint hinge paired with collaboration-exclusive vented Prizm™ lenses in Tungsten and Black. Joining the Scar™ is the spiked, high-wrap Suture Jacket™, offered in “Grey Smoke” and “Transparent Yellow” with vented Prizm™ Black lenses and sweat-activated Unobtainium® nosepads. Both eyewear offerings ship with a custom storage bag and a clear presentation box.
The accompanying apparel capsule expands on the collection’s ventilation focus through three running performance pieces. The AuraLite™ Dune Perforated Long Tee utilizes laser-cut Japanese micro-jersey for targeted airflow, while the AmbientWarp™ Cordura® Trail Cap applies DWR-finished softshell panels and an adjustable bungee closure. Rounding out the equipment system, the SoftCell™ Bandana arrives in a Silver Foil finish engineered to reflect sunlight and develop a custom patina over time.
