Paris Fashion Week offered a first glimpse at Fall/Winter 2026 last week, as menswear collections took the city by storm. While the runways mapped out broader creative directions, footwear quietly asserted itself as one of the week’s most compelling through-lines. A mix of familiar names and surprising pairings surfaced, hinting at what’s to come. Here, we highlight 10 sneaker moments from Paris that left a lasting impression.

Song for the Mute x adidas Samba & SL72 Pro

It’s safe to say that Song for the Mute and adidas are on a roll. The duo landed two spots in our most recent Editors’ Picks: Footwear round-up, and they’re looking like a lock to make it again with what they’ve cooked up for FW26. Both the Samba and SL72 Pro have been prepared with deconstructed uppers. The former ventures from smooth black leather to an aged brown and a suede green. Meanwhile, all three feature co-branding at the tongue and heel tag. A similar design approach has been employed with their SL72 Pro, which is patchwork-like in the way it carries various overlays. An all-brown is joined by a white-on-white and a blue and gray version, with each stacking a toggle cord atop a traditional lacing system.

Kiko Kostadinov x Crocs

Kiko Kostadinov is a staple to these fashion week round-ups, often making use of the runway to preview upcoming ASICS projects. However, he surprised the industry this time around by debuting a new design made in collaboration with Crocs. Its potent tooling is reminiscent of hiking boots, with a portion of the sole reaching up and around the heel, creating a distinct line that encircles the shoe. Meanwhile, a leather upper and mesh collar combine for a casual shoe aesthetic. Colorways of mustard yellow, muted green, and dark brown fit seamlessly into his latest show, with each being secured by a toggle lacing system. While polarizing upon first impression, the “Crocstadinov” era is coming and we’ll see if he can bring the same success to the slip-on specialists as he did with ASICS previously.

POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF) x On Cloudsoma

Several reports have indicated that the POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF) x On partnership is coming to a close this year. The two have both found themselves rapidly ascending in the fashion industry recently, with their collaborative “Current Form” series as a key factor in accomplishing this. While they may be venturing in new directions next year, they still have at least one new silhouette on the way: the Cloudsoma. This model is a departure from the distinct layering of previous models, instead opting for a more continuous construction with a tongue that is built into the upper. Oval shapes are spread throughout the upper, while the heel is reinforced. Where the duo has remained consistent is the color schemes, all of which favor monochromatic compositions.

COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS x Air Jordan 11

When it comes to the COMME des GARÇONS empire, there’s no shortage of footwear collaborations to keep track of. This time around, we had Junya Watanabe MAN outfit the New Balance P400, COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT reconnect with ASICS on the GEL-1130, and COMME des GARÇONS HOMME work on the New Balance U1890A. But one pair stands out amongst the rest as the most noteworthy: the COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS x Air Jordan 11. At last, the 31-year-old sneaker is the subject of a collaboration. In classic CdGH+ fashion, two monochromatic takes of black and white have been rendered. Both see the shoe’s ballistic nylon upper replaced by a premium leather, which notably hosts a CdGH+ wordmark at the medial heel.

JiyongKim x PUMA VS1

JiyongKim’s sun-bleach technique is coming to the PUMA VS1, serving as the South Korean label’s first sneaker collaboration. Two colorways of an aged white and black with white fraying have been prepared, but no pair is alike due to the fabric’s exposure to the elements. The performance silhouette has been modified with strong overlays and subtle PUMA cat branding at the medial. A tonal heel cage is present at the rear while co-branding completes the look at the sockliner.

Village PM 2PM

A new era of skateboarding footwear is here, thanks to Village PM. The breakout brand has made waves with it first sneaker, the 1PM, and introduced the world to its sequel, the 2PM, during Paris Fashion Week. Building atop the momentum of its predecessor, the 2PM expands on the use of the brand’s Rubber Glove Technology, applying it to both the sole and upper. Perforations are gently spread across the upper, which features subtle branding notes throughout. Colorways range from high-contrast renditions to calm compositions that stick to one hue.

adidas Y-3 FW26

Yohji Yamamoto and adidas remain as strong as ever, with a new Y-3 presentation anchored by a Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One team collaboration this season. On the footwear front, plenty of new models were showcased. A lifestyle version of a Predator football shoe features a fold-over tongue with Y-3 branding. Elsewhere a boxing boot-esque silhouette features embroidered linework that contrasts with the uppers. Rounding out this limited preview of the range is the return of the F50 “Wolf” boot from 2006, which features a menacing print atop the upper.

_J.L-A.L_ x PUMA CELL Geo-1

_J.L-A.L_ and PUMA had a standout moment for Spring/Summer 2026 last year with the debut of their partnership featuring two takes on the CELL line. Now, it’s back for two more renditions. Rather than draw inspiration from vintage leather furniture, the pairing has taken a more futuristic approach. A mesh base is adorned with ovals across the sneaker, joining the outline of a Formstrip. All-black and all-white looks are joined by a brown iteration that toggles between two complementary hues. From there, the laceless upper is made complete by a tonal _J.L-A.L_ wordmark.

FFFPOSTALSERVICE FFFOOTWEAR

FFFPOSTALSERVICE has officially stepped into the world of footwear, aka FFFOOTWEAR. The sci-fi inspired South Korean label is set to debut its Banner Lace Up Derby as its first offering this FW26. A straightforward derby shape is made complex thanks to an asymmetrical lacing system and distinct linework that creates stripes across each shoe. Compositions range from sticking to simply black or brown to a contrast-heavy mint and a black-and-brown. Oversized laces are designed to wrap around the sole, which features a Vibram build.

Willy Chavarria x adidas Megaride & Predator

Rounding out our lineup for FW26 is the next chapter of Willy Chavarria x adidas. The two have once again tapped the Megaride franchise, producing the Megaride Copa and Megaride Bones. Both feature a fold-over tongue with branding that nods to the designer. Meanwhile, a prominent Megaride sole backs the co-branded leather upper. A take on adidas’ signature Predator football cleat was also sent down the runway. Its sleek build features large “Chavarria” text and classic Three Stripes branding at the heel.
