Needles is best known for its brave design language, and its Fall 2026 collection is no exception. Textured tweeds, plush furs, brushed knitwear, and expressive intarsias and jacquards make for an intricately layered look, while the Japanese label also refreshes its signature tracksuits in deep hues.
Solid and plaid tweeds make up the bulk of the collection’s more traditional tailoring, which is recontextualized through the juxtaposition of leopard, cheetah, and tiger prints. Elsewhere, micro prints emblazon standout pieces, including a floral overcoat worn with a technicolor knitted sweater.
Of course, Americana classics show their influence through Western shirts, embroidered with Needles butterflies, straight-leg corduroy trousers, and varsity letter jackets. The brand’s classic velvet tracksuits are shown in black with colored trims of neon green, mauve, and deep purple. Another iteration features various shades of violet for an eye-catching tonal look.
However, the label’s Eastern influences showed through too. Pinstripes not only covered typical Western suiting but also an Eastern-inspired suit, complete with Chinese Pankou knot buttons. One of the more unique fabrics used in the collection is a wrinkled quilted fabric akin to the lining of a warm jacket. The fabric is shown in a golden-hued number, worn with a tweed jacket and an all-black kimono-inspired suit.
