TAG Heuer‘s newest Monaco Chronograph is a vibrant, limited-edition timepiece that channels the adrenaline and glow of night racing — inspired by the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix night circuits. Released as a striking interpretation of the iconic square-cased model, this edition takes the Monaco into a new realm, where the design’s visual language is heightened by dramatic colours and depth.
Crafted in a 39mm DLC-coated titanium case, the watch is built with durability and comfort in mind to cater to its high-performance nature. Aesthetically, it captures the atmosphere of racing after dark, evoking the theatrical beauty and performance as speed roars through neon-lit streets. Its design pays homage to the vibrant energy of Las Vegas, with a skeletonized dial that transitions in a gradient from purple to blue, evoking the city’s dazzling nightlife. Luminescent accents and bright turquoise chronograph hands enhance legibility while adding a bold, electrifying touch to the overall aesthetic.
The watch truly comes alive in low-light conditions, shining brightly thanks to its various Super-LumiNova® accents in three distinct nighttime-inspired tones. Blue Super-LumiNova highlights the chronograph complication and its bright turquoise hands, while Green Super-LumiNova is reserved for the black-gold hour and minute hands, as well as the openworked date disc, ensuring optimal time legibility. The luminous effect is layered further by purple and blue Super-LumiNova within the minute track and on the outer edge of the dial arches. Even the caseback is finished with an iridescent metallization that shifts from blue to purple, seamlessly extending the nocturnal colour palette to the movement.
Powering this timepiece is TAG Heuer’s in-house Calibre TH20-00 automatic movement, which ensures precision, performance, compete with an impressive 80-hour power reserve. The watch is completed by a hybrid black rubber and embossed calfskin strap featuring purple stitching to tie into the overall color story.
Released as a sought-after collectible, the TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph is priced at $11,600 USD, each individually numbered as a limited edition of just 600 pieces worldwide. For more information, visit TAG Heuer’s website and boutiques.
