Adding to this list is Sunflower’s SS26 collection, just shown at Copenhagen Fashion Week. Fittingly, the Copenhagen-based label staged its show in the small courtyard of its office building. This season, the brand presented 25 looks that blend understated wearability with timeless tailoring intended to tell the story of ‘business abandoned for escape’.
The collection “is worn as though pulled from a suitcase” and “feels like a uniform for aimless days,” with creased and ripped denim, a thrown-on grey two-piece suit paired with an unbuttoned striped shirt, and other nonchalant styling touches. The looks highlight contemporary ease – like a tailored black overcoat worn with weathered jeans, or a loose pinstriped suit styled with a powder-blue shirt and a polka-dot tie.
These pieces are designed to be lived in and to last, showcasing impeccable technical construction and quality fabrics. However, the muted color palette – stone, tobacco, storm grey, wheat – reflects the brand’s fresh, grounded approach to modern menswear.
