Update: Puerto Rico is crucial to everything Bad Bunny has done recently. From his 30-show residency to three new adidas Gazelle Indoors, he continues to pay homage to his home island. One of three new pairs is a “Cabo Rojo” colorway that we previewed previously below. Its bright pink pays homage to the beach town and its rare pink waters. The pair is now set to drop globally on July 26 via adidas CONFIRMED at a price of $140 USD.
Original Story: Bad Bunny spared no time in making noise this year, dropping his sixth studio album, DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOTos (I Should Have Taken More Photos), on January 5. The Puerto Rican superstar also introduced the Ballerina sneaker with adidas in two colorways, expanding on their ongoing partnership.

Now, the two look to be returning to the Gazelle Indoor as a new “Cabo Rojo” colorway has surfaced. Our initial preview of the sneaker sees it pay homage to the Puerto Rican beach town of Cabo Rojo with a “Wonder Clay” upper that pairs suede, leather, and synthetic detailing throughout. Benito’s elevated take on the model, which he first presented in white last September, features everything from a puffed layered tongue to a remixed toe and size tag at the heel. adidas Cabo Rojo branding arrives at the lateral heel while the “adidas para Bad Bunny” note is again present at the sockliner.
At the time of writing, neither Bad Bunny nor adidas have indicated when this “Cabo Rojo”-themed take on the Gazelle Indoor will be dropping.
