EDGLRD and Higround Collaborate On a Limited-Edition Gaming Keyboard
Even Travis Scott’s excited about this launch (watch video), with each keyboard described as “unique” and “no two keys are alike”.
Creative collective EDGLRD has teamed up with culture-forward gaming brand Higround for its latest project, with the pair announcing a limited-edition collaborative gaming keyboard that launches today.
Bringing EDGLRD’s experimental aesthetic further into the gaming space – following the recent announcement of the brand’s first game, Tamashika – the EDGLRD x Higround keyboard features custom-designed keycaps inspired by both digital and natural references, including molten lava, cracked concrete and deepwater algae. Each key on the collaborative keyboards is described as “unique”, with the brands stating that “no two keys are alike”.
EDGLRD’s Ben Morsberger stated that this “limited-edition keyboard is more than just a tool,” adding that it is “a canvas, a collectible, and a piece of functional design.”
While Rustin Sotoodeh, Higround’s co-founder and CEO – who describes his brand’s mission as “redefining the gaming space by merging inspiration from gaming and new spaces to create culture” – says the collaboration with EDGLRD checks all the important boxes he looks out for and “opens the door to new realms of inspiration and expression for the gaming space as a whole.”
The collaboration has even got Travis Scott excited, with video shared by EDGLRD showing La Flame himself getting down with the new gear.
