Capri Sun Launches Glow-in-the-Dark Moon Punch for Total Lunar Eclipse
Featuring eight collectible pouches, each designed after a different lunar phase.
Capri Sun has released its latest beverage: Moon Punch, a glow-in-the-dark drink pouch inspired by the night sky. The release was timed to coincide with the Total Lunar Eclipse. Notably, the limited-edition juice is the brand’s first-ever moon-themed flavor, featuring eight collectible pouches, each designed after a different lunar phase.
In a cosmic twist, Capri Sun turned the moon itself into a scannable code through Snapchat. From March 13 to March 14, fans were able to snap a picture of the moon for a chance to win a free carton of Moon Punch and a flashlight to enhance their eclipse-watching experience.
“Playing off our iconic brand name, we’re looking from the sun to the moon for the very first time,” said Jessica Barker, Senior Brand Manager at Capri Sun.
Inspired by the Blood Moon, Moon Punch boasts a cherry flavor and is now available at Amazon, Walmart, Target and Kroger for a limited time.
