Reputable source DropsByJay has announced the rumored release date for Supreme’s LA Fire Relief box logo tee. According to the post, all proceeds will go to a charity supporting rebuilding and relief efforts. More details regarding the official design, date, and specific charity are said to be available soon.
Supreme would be the latest among many brands and celebrities to announce charity efforts following the devastation brought by the LA wildfires at the beginning of this year. The fires brought unprecedented damage to LA communities sweeping through neighborhoods and affecting an estimated 200,000 people.
Earlier this month, Born X Raised released a “City Above Self” capsule collection in partnership with the LA Fire Department. Heaven by Marc Jacobs tapped artist Eri Wakiyama to design a graphic tee in partnership with their collaborators including Sandy Liang, Stray Rats, Comme Tees, Ice Studios, and Little Tokyo Table Tennis. Beyonce also postponed her Cowboy Carter tour announcement to donate $2.5 million USD directly to families who lost their homes in the fires.
